Steve Bassett

Steve Bassett is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management, particularly in the technology sector. Currently serving as Senior Product Manager for the EPYC Software Development Environment at AMD since February 2008, Steve specializes in optimizing software development tools for developers within the EPYC server processors team, following a successful 12-year tenure with AMD's Client PC processors and the RYZEN product line. Additional roles include launching the 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU processors and X570 PCIe Gen 4.0 Chipset, as well as previous positions at Cirrus Logic, Greyrock Technology, Vitesse Semiconductor, Texas Instruments, and NCR/Symbios/LSI Logic. Steve holds a Master’s degree in Management of Technology from National Technological University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
