Suresh Ramalingam

Suresh Ramalingam is a distinguished engineer and leader in the field of semiconductor packaging and materials development, currently serving as a Corporate Fellow at AMD since March 2022. Prior roles include Fellow and Senior Director at Xilinx, where Suresh led the design and development of advanced packaging technologies, notably stacked silicon interconnect (SSI) technology, and managed global teams to deliver innovative FPGA and embedded processor packages. Suresh's extensive experience also encompasses positions at JDSU as a Senior Engineering Manager, Scion Photonics as Director of Materials Development, and Intel Corporation as a Senior Staff Engineer, contributing significantly to industry-first technologies in microprocessor packaging. Suresh holds a Sc.D. and MSCEP in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
