Zhongliang Chen is a GPU Architect at AMD since March 2017, specializing in GPU/graphics architecture, performance analysis, optimization, and architecture modeling. Prior to this role, Zhongliang served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2010 to February 2017, focusing on GPU computing and computer architecture under the guidance of Dr. David Kaeli, while also teaching graduate-level operating systems courses. Additional experience includes research internships at IBM T J Watson Research Center and Samsung Electronics, as well as a Performance Compiler Engineer Intern position at AMD. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, an MEng in Computer Science from the Institute of Computing Technology, and a BEng in Information Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
