James Yang

James Yang is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering. Currently serving as the Vice President of Software Engineering at AMEC since July 2008, James has previously held significant roles at Applied Materials, including Director of Software Engineering and Software Manager from April 1996 to September 2004. Earlier in their career, James was an Assistant Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University from July 1989 to February 1993, focusing on teaching and research in the Artificial Intelligence and Robot Institute with an emphasis on image processing, signal processing, and control. James holds dual master's degrees in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering, as well as Automatic Control and Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where studies were completed between 1983 and 1989.
