Xavier Orr

Xavier Orr is the current CEO of Advanced Navigation. Xavier was previously the Director of Research & Development at Cyber Technology from January 2008 to July 2012. At Cyber Technology, they managed a team of 7 engineers to complete the development of a universal autopilot system that used AI to learn to control any vehicle it was installed in. However, the company ran into financial troubles and were unable to secure the funds to proceed, so Orr left to start their own company.

Prior to their work at Cyber Technology, Orr was the CEO of Western Suburbs Computer Technicians from November 2002 to January 2009. Western Suburbs Computer Technicians was a company they started during high school that built and sold PCs as well as provided SMB networking, data recovery and server administration. The company reached a peak of 6 staff in 2006 before Orr started winding it down to allow him to focus more on their final years of university studies.

Xavier Orr has a degree in Mechatronic Engineering & Computer Science from The University of Western Australia. Their focus is in robotics and artificial intelligence.
