Joseph Orrett

Senior Radio Frequency Engineer at Advanced Oncotherapy

Joseph Orrett has worked in the engineering field since 2001. Joseph started as an RF Engineer at the Science and Technology Facilities Council. In 2011, they moved to GE Healthcare as a Cyclotron Engineer, a role they held until 2017. At that time, they moved to Varian Medical Systems as a Proton Therapy Engineer. In 2019, they joined Advanced Oncotherapy plc as a Senior Engineer, where they were responsible for carrying out the installation and commissioning of the first Advanced Oncotherapy Linac based Proton Therapy machine.

Joseph Orrett attended the University of Saint Andrews from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
