Brian Shayuth has had a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brian started their career at Schlumberger, where they held positions as a Wireline Services Engineer and later as a Logging/Measurements While Drilling Engineer, responsible for integrating logging culture and interpretation expertise into early development stages. Brian then progressed to the role of Field Service Manager, supervising and evaluating a staff of engineers while providing technical support to sales, manufacturing, and engineering teams. Shayuth then moved on to become the Technical Manager at Schlumberger, where they provided technical expertise to marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams and produced engineering solutions to technical issues.
After their time at Schlumberger, Shayuth worked at ECtel as an Engineering Services Manager, leading the commissioning and system design of telecommunication/network monitoring products. Brian also served as a Program Manager, providing leadership and direction to cross-functional marketing and technical teams.
Most recently, Shayuth has been working at Advanced Programs, Inc. in various senior roles. Brian started as a Product Marketing Manager, where they applied leadership and technical skills to take design concepts to solution definition, product development, and market for major DoD programs. Shayuth then transitioned into the role of Program/Engineering Development Manager, where they directed the Engineering Department staff and resources for development efforts contracted to large DoD IT security programs. Brian then served as the Director of Engineering, overseeing all aspects of engineering activities and managing multiple product development efforts. Currently, Shayuth holds the position of Senior Director of Product Management & Sales Support, responsible for the product strategy of the complete API product portfolio and managing a product line representing $70 million in annual sales revenue.
Brian Shayuth completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990.
