Alana Scheuerer

Alana Scheuerer is a Community Outreach Associate for the IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery at Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC, where Alana connects union representatives to valuable resources. With a strong background in the arts and community engagement, Alana serves on the Public Art Committee for the City of Coral Springs and maintains memberships with Americans for the Arts and NEWH, The Hospitality Network. Previous roles include Special Events Coordinator and Associate at the Museum of Discovery and Science, Dance Instructor and Media Manager at Xpress Yourself Dance Studio, Operations Manager and Producer at AMP Media Productions, Director of Community Affairs at Monarch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, and Volunteer with COCA. Alana holds a Master of Arts in American Dance Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Tourism from Florida State University, along with a high school diploma from Coral Glades High School.
