David Burstin Sphr

David Burstin has a strong background in human resources, with a focus on strategic, tactical, and consultative support. David currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at Advanced Recovery Systems, leading a team of HR Business Partners. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Oasis Outsourcing, where they provided support to the Sales and Client Relationship Management organizations. David also has experience as a self-employed Human Resources Consultant, offering services to improve organizational effectiveness. David has worked at various companies throughout their career, including Noven Pharmaceuticals, Dex Media, Inc., and Verizon Information Services, where they held senior-level HR positions. David began their career at Reuben H. Donnelley, where they held roles in sales planning and analysis and marketing practices.

David Burstin, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Bryant University. David has also completed SHRM PHR/SPHR courses at Manhattanville College. In 2017, they obtained a Master's Certificate in NextGen Human Resources from Rutgers University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in January 2015 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in July 2010.
