Deanna Edwards, PMP

Deanna Edwards, PMP has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Deanna started their career in 1990 as a Summer Camp Program Director, Counselor and held various Health/Fitness positions at the Tallahassee YMCA and DuPont YMCA in Jacksonville, FL. In 1996, they joined the Florida Recreation & Park Association as a Membership Manager. From 1997 to 2001, Deanna worked at Southern Accent Computer Systems as an iMIS Support Specialist for Associations. Since 2001, they have been working at Advanced Solutions International as a Senior Cloud Project Manager.

Deanna Edwards, PMP, has a strong educational background in the field of Recreation and Leisure Services Administration. Deanna attended Florida State University from 1992 to 1996, earning a BS degree in Recreation & Leisure Services Administration. Prior to their college education, Deanna completed their high school education at Amos P Godby High School from 1988 to 1992. Additionally, they attended Trinity Catholic School from 1980 to 1988.

In addition to their academic achievements, Deanna has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Notably, they earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2007. Furthermore, they have obtained Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in November 2022 and January 2022, respectively. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to ongoing professional development and their expertise in project management and Microsoft technologies.
