Astrodynamics Engineer at Advanced Space

Sai Chikine is an astrodynamics engineer at Advanced Space. Sai has a background in engineering and has worked as an intern for development at AGI, a course assistant for statistical orbit determination and aircraft dynamics at the University of Colorado Boulder, and an instructor at Mathnasium of Lafayette. Sai also has experience in the automotive industry, having worked as an intern for advanced powertrain controls at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Sai Chikine's educational career began with a high school diploma in telecommunications and computer science from Bergen County Academies. Sai then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. After working in the aerospace industry for a few years, they decided to return to school to earn their master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder. After completing their PhD in astrodynamics and satellite navigation from the same school, they now works as a professor of aerospace engineering at the university.

They work with Miekkal Clarkson - Support Engineer, Lauren De Moudt - Astrodynamics Engineer, and Justin Thammavong - Information Systems Engineer. Sai Chikine reports to Jeffrey Parker, CTO.
