Gayle Olszyk has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gayle began their career as the Chief of Programs Division at the Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command in 2000. Gayle then served as the Deputy to the Commander at the US Army Ordnance Mechanical Maintenance School from 2002 to 2005. After that, Gayle worked as the Deputy to the Commander at the US Army Ordnance Center and School from 2002 to 2011. Gayle retired from this position after 38 years of service in the US Army as a Department of the Army Civilian and a contractor. In 2012, Gayle joined Triumph Enterprises, Inc. as a Senior Army Program Manager/Leader, where they managed over ten defense contracts and supervised 15 project teams. Gayle held this role until 2014 when they joined Marton Technologies as a Program Manager. Currently, Gayle is the Program Manager at Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. since 2022.

Gayle Olszyk completed their Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, specializing in Guidance and Counseling, from the University of Maryland. Gayle then pursued a Master of Science Degree in Education and Guidance and Counseling from Western Kentucky University, which they obtained in 1975.
