E. Tom Watson

E. Tom Watson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple decades. In 1975, they started their career in the United States Air Force as a Telecommunications Systems Controller, serving until 1979. E. Tom then joined L-3 Communications as a Field Engineer from 1980 to 1999. Following that, they worked at Harris Corporation as a Field Engineer, leading a dedicated team in ensuring high sensor availability and providing training and mentoring to team members from 1999 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2015, Watson worked at United Technologies Aerospace Company in various roles. E. Tom started as a Program Manager, having joined the company as a Senior Field Engineer. In 2006, they assumed a site lead role and was promoted to Program Manager in 2010 due to their exceptional administration skills and successful completion of assigned tasks. During their tenure, Watson autonomously reduced their manager's workload, developed talent within the company, and managed sustainment projects to ensure the success of the SYERS mission system. E. Tom also provided input on labor forecasts, compiled customer reports, participated in process improvement efforts, and effectively managed the multi-million dollar sustainment budget. E. Tom'sachievements led to a promotion to Deputy Sensor Sustainment Program Manager.

After leaving United Technologies Aerospace Company, Watson took a break to care for their elderly parents before returning to work. Starting in 2018, they worked at Honeywell as a Senior Project Engineer until the end of 2019. Currently, Watson serves as a Program Manager at Advanced Technology Systems Company, starting in June 2021.

E. Tom Watson completed their Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix between 2003 and 2006. E. Tom then pursued a Master of Information Services with a focus on Management from the University of Phoenix between 2006 and 2007. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Science in Program Management from Boston University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
