Timothy Bauer

Timothy Bauer is a seasoned professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Sr R&D Engineer II at AdvanSix since October 2016, Timothy leads projects focused on ammonium sulfate crystallization technology and predictive analytics using numerical simulations. Previously, Timothy held the position of Sr R&D Engineer, where leadership in process development for a significant Nylon production plant and pilot plant project management were key responsibilities. Timothy also worked at Honeywell as an R&D Engineer Supervisor I, successfully launching a $10M pilot plant, and earlier as an R&D Engineer/Scientist I, where efficiency improvements in production processes were realized. Timothy commenced a career at Smiths Detection as an Analytical Chemist, focusing on testing and maintaining analytical equipment. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
