Karim El Sharkawy

Karim El Sharkawy's work experience begins in 2017 as a Maintenance Engineer at Imaging Systems Engineering Co. While there, their responsibilities included studying and operating software solutions, responding to technical problems from customers, and managing seminars to promote company product lines.

In 2018, Karim moved on to Asfour Crystal as an Electrical Automation Engineer. During this time, they ensured the smooth operation of field devices, instrumentation systems, and communication protocols. Karim also coordinated with the maintenance department for preventive maintenance and handled spare parts management and inventory.

In 2020, Karim joined Hakim Misr Paco as an Electrical Control Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of field devices, instrumentation systems, and communication protocols. Karim also solved communication problems between controllers and sub-levels, provided solutions for faulty drives and controllers, and programmed and troubleshooted various PLCs.

Most recently, Karim started working at Advansys ESC in 2021 as a Controls Engineer III. Their responsibilities include designing and developing control algorithms for warehouse automation, utilizing sensors and feedback mechanisms to regulate equipment operation. Karim also performs commissioning and startup activities, such as downloading PLC and HMI programs, performing signal checks, and setting up communication networks and gateways.

Karim El Sharkawy completed their education at Helwan University Cairo. Karim first pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2013 to 2017. Afterward, they obtained a Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation from 2018 to 2019.
