Michael Martin

Michael Martin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael most recently served as the Owner & President of AdvantaClean of the Tri-Cities since February 2014. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Analyst, Compensation & Benefits at Lumber Liquidators from September 2012 to August 2013. Michael also held various roles at Tredegar Corporation, including Employee Performance and Compensation Analyst from June 2010 to September 2012, Sr Benefits Analyst from August 2007 to June 2010, Benefits Administration from May 2003 to August 2007, and Benefit Rep from 1999 to May 2003.

Michael Martin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, where they studied from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in different fields. In 2019, they became a certified Radon Mitigation Specialist from the NATIONAL RADON SAFETY BOARD. In 2017, they acquired the Crawlspace Encapsulation Specialist certification from the Reets Drying Academy. In 2015, they obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Toxic Mold Inspector (CTMI) from MICRO, Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and OSHA 10 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In 2014, they became a Certified Mold Remediation Technician (CMRT) from MICRO and also obtained the Water Restoration Technician certification from the IICRC.
