Rebecca Brown

Rebecca Brown has over 20 years of professional experience. Rebecca began their career in 1996 as a Various at URJ Camp Harlam. In 2000, they became a Guidance Counselor for the School District of Philadelphia. From 2001-2002, they worked as a Regional Admissions Assistant/Assistant to the Director, Secondary School Committee at the University of Pennsylvania, Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Rebecca then moved to Advantage Testing, where they worked as a Hiring Manager and Program Administrator from 2002-2008. During this time, they also worked as a Program Coordinator of Youth and Family Education at Congregation Beth Elohim from 2008-2009. In 2006, they became a Graduate Extern Mental Health Counselor at John Jay College. From 2009-2013, they worked as a Senior Cooperative Education Coordinator for Relationship Management and Cooperative Education Coordinator at Drexel University. During this time, they taught a caseload of 300+ students job search strategies, resume development and interview skills, and developed and implemented an assessment protocol for college students in distress. From 2013-present, they have worked at Advantage Testing as a Program Director of Interview Counseling, Assistant Director of College Counseling, and Senior Program Consultant, College Admissions and Interview Specialist.

Rebecca Brown's education history includes a HS diploma from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School (1992-1996), a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (1996-2000), a Penn Semester Abroad from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (1999), and an Ed.M. and M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University (2005-2007). Rebecca also holds a certification as a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Certified Practitioner.
