Jochen Palmer

Jochen Palmer is an accomplished technology leader with significant experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Global Software Test at Advantest since September 2022, Jochen is focused on enhancing software quality and engineering practices. Prior to this role, Jochen spent over 15 years at Mercedes-Benz AG, where positions included Head of MB.OS Device Cloud, SW Engineering Manager for CI/CD and Test Automation in Infotainment Systems, and Lead Architect for Connected Car Backend. Jochen’s career began at Bosch and IT-Designers Gruppe, working on telematics and systems engineering projects. Jochen holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen, a Master's degree in Distributed Systems from Brunel University, and an Engineer's degree in Software Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen.
