Sheila Lebrun-James, MHA, CPHQ, LSSGBH, RN, currently serves as a Transformation Consultant at the University of Maryland Medical System since April 2024. Previously, Sheila worked as a Healthcare Consultant at Medasource, analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams for evaluations. From July 2016 to February 2023, Sheila held several roles at Sound Physicians, culminating as Director of Clinical Performance, where management of services for 11 hospitals in the Mid-Atlantic region and consulting with stakeholders to enhance care quality were key responsibilities. Sheila also served as Regional Manager and Clinical Performance Nurse during this tenure. Earlier experience includes positions at St. Agnes Hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center-Towson, and Coney Island Hospital, alongside a foundational role at Bright Horizons. Sheila holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Long Island College Hospital of Brooklyn School of Nursing, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College.
