Mark Hulsey

Vice President Of Information Technology at Advantis Credit Union

Mark Hulsey has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Mark began their career at the US Navy in 1996, where they served in various roles, including FT, Network/Systems Administrator, and IT Manager. During their time in the Navy, Mark was responsible for maintaining IS systems, supporting networks, and managing internal networks and appliances. Mark also provided end user support for over 150 people per command.

In 2009, Mark transitioned to the private sector and joined Advantis Credit Union. Mark started as a Network Administrator and was responsible for designing and implementing network infrastructure improvements to support the organization's growing demands. Mark's efforts resulted in a significant reduction in network operating costs and increased security and bandwidth for remote branches.

Mark quickly progressed within Advantis Credit Union, taking on roles such as IT Operations Management and Director of Information Technology. In these positions, they focused on disaster recovery planning, information security, IT program implementation, and ensuring efficient IT maintenance.

Most recently, Mark was appointed as the Vice President of Information Technology at Advantis Credit Union. Their responsibilities include overseeing the IT department's operations, aligning IT strategies with business objectives, and providing technical solutions to enhance mission-critical operations across all departments within the organization.

Mark Hulsey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the HPU College of Business Administration between 2001 and 2004. Mark then pursued a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2005. Additionally, Mark Hulsey obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Becoming an Inspiring Mentor" in 2024 and "Moving DEI from Intention to Impact with Ruchika Tulshyan" in 2023, among others.
