Samantha Wagner, MHA, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple healthcare organizations. Samantha began their career as a Business Office Assistant at Voskuhl & McGee Family Care, where they handled various administrative tasks and provided support in billing and patient services. Samantha then joined Baptist Health Louisville as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, where they managed accounts and maintained financial records.

In 2011, Samantha took on the role of Assistant Billing Office Manager at UofL Physicians. Here, they led the restructuring of the revenue cycle process and prepared the division for integration with the University of Louisville Physicians. Samantha also managed daily activities and supervised a team of 50+ employees.

After that, Samantha joined Advanced ENT and Allergy as a Business Office Manager. Samantha collaborated with the CEO and Director of Operations to improve revenue operations and supervised a billing team of 10.

In 2014, Samantha moved to Baptist Health Louisville as a Revenue Cycle Supervisor. Samantha focused on change management and reorganization for the Centralized Business Office, developed and implemented policies and procedures, and oversaw provider onboarding and management.

In 2016, Samantha joined Intermedix as a Client Services Manager and later became the Director of Client Services. In these roles, they led change management strategies and evaluated current practices for improvement. Samantha also built strong physician partnerships, negotiated contracts, and guided strategic planning.

In 2018, Samantha became the Chief Operations Officer at Pediatrics of Bullitt County. Samantha drove the strategic direction of the physician practice, managed the budget, and oversaw 30 employees. Samantha also implemented coding education and profitability reviews, resulting in a significant increase in charges.

Currently, Samantha holds the position of Vice President, Process Improvement & Education at Advantum Health. Samantha is responsible for process improvement projects and successful implementation of new clients across all lines of business.

Throughout their career, Samantha has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, achieve strategic goals, drive revenue growth, and improve operational efficiency.

Samantha Wagner, MHA, has a comprehensive education history in the field of healthcare administration and management. Samantha began their educational journey at Virginia College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Medical Office Management/Administration from 2009 to 2011. Building on this foundation, Samantha pursued higher education at Virginia College again, completing their Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Management from 2011 to 2013. Seeking advanced knowledge and skills, they then enrolled at Purdue Global, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare Administration, graduating from 2014 to 2016.

Motivated to further excel in their career and contribute to the field, Samantha is currently enrolled at Capella University, pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. This program is expected to be completed from 2022 to 2024. With their extensive education and dedication to healthcare administration, Samantha is poised to make significant contributions in their field.
