Chris Lawson

Chris Lawson has extensive work experience in procurement and materiel management. From 2019 to the present, they have been serving as the System Director of Procurement at Advantus Health Partners. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2022, Lawson held the role of Corporate Director of Shared Procurement Services at Bon Secours Health System. In this position, they were responsible for leading system-wide procurement efforts and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical practices. From 2006 to 2014, they also served as the Administrative Director of Materiel Management Information Systems at Bon Secours, managing various software systems and stakeholders. Lawson has also worked on consulting assignments, including a role as a Contract Consultant for Accenture from 1995 to 2001 and various consulting roles in 2005.

Chris Lawson earned an MBA in Business Administration from Virginia Tech from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from the University of South Florida from 2002 to 2004. In 2016, Chris received the Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification from the American Hospital Association.
