Brian Canestraro

Brian Canestraro is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Vice President and General Manager for Canada at ADVANZ PHARMA since July 2022, Brian has also held the role of General Manager at Intercept Pharmaceuticals since June 2015. Prior to these positions, significant tenures at Gilead Sciences Canada Inc. included roles such as Director of Market Access and Government Affairs, Associate Director Sales, National Sales Manager, and Senior Product Manager for Hepatitis. Brian began their career at Eli Lilly and Company as Brand Manager for the Speciality Business Unit. Brian holds an M.B.A. from the University of Leicester and a HBA in Kinesiology from Western University.
