Jv Rao

JV Rao has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and companies. JV started their career at IBM in 2001 as a Development Manager for eBusiness solutions. After five years, they became a Managing Strategy Consultant at IBM and held this position until 2010. In 2010, JV Rao moved to PAREXEL where they worked for over 10 years. JV held multiple roles at PAREXEL including Senior Manager, Business Performance Analytics, Director of Business Process Excellence, Director of Business Analytics and Optimization, and finally Global Head of Business Analytics and Optimization. In 2021, they joined Advarra as the Vice President of Data Sciences and in 2024, they transitioned to the role of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships: Data & Analytics.

JV Rao completed their education at various institutions. They obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering between 1994 and 1998. In 2014, JV Rao attended Wharton Executive Education, where they completed a Value Creation Course in Business. Recently, in 2023 they attended MIT Professional Education for Applied Data Sciences. Alongside their formal education, JV Rao also obtained additional certifications in Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in 2021 and Statistics Fundamentals - Part 1: Beginning from LinkedIn in 2017.
