Rodney E. Whittington Jr.

Rodney E. Whittington Jr. has an extensive work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they are serving as the President of Advena Living since March 2023. Previously, they held the position of CEO at Method Healthcare LLC from January 2013 onwards. Rodney also held multiple roles at Kansas and Missouri from May 1998 onwards, including CEO, COO, Administrator, and Executive Director at various facilities such as Windsor Place, Windsor Place of Iola, and Tipton Manor. From May 2016 to July 2022, they served as the Executive Director at Catholic Community Hospice. Additionally, Rodney held the CEO position at Villa St. Francis in Olathe, KS, from January 2014 to July 2022.

Rodney E. Whittington Jr. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Life Sciences and Gerontology, with a focus on Long Term Health Care Administration, from Kansas State University. Rodney E. attended this university from 1994 to 1999. Before their time at Kansas State University, they graduated from Field Kindley High School between the years 1990 and 1994. In terms of additional certifications, Rodney became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in October 1999 through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB). Rodney E. also obtained the Long Term Care Preceptor certification from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in July 2004. Rodney's most recent certifications include being a Health Services Executive through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards, obtained in March 2018, and a Kansas Fellow for the 2019 class of the Center for Leadership at LeadingAge Kansas, obtained in September 2018.
