Madan Kandula

Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ADVENT at ADVENT

Madan Kandula, MD is the Founder and CEO of ADVENT, a position they have held since November 2004. Prior to that, they worked as an Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery specialist at Affiliated ENT from July 2003 to October 2004.

Madan Kandula, MD completed their high school education at Northmont Senior High School from 1985 to 1989, earning a High School Degree. Madan then attended Duke University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural Anthropology, Religion, Biological Anthropology & Anatomy. Following this, they pursued further studies at Drexel University College of Medicine from 1994 to 1998, receiving a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In the interim, they also attended Hahnemann University School of Medicine in 1993 to 1994, specializing in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies.

Dr. Kandula continued their medical education with an internship in Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine from 1998 to 1999. Madan then completed their Residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1999 to 2003.

Additionally, Dr. Kandula has obtained several certifications outside of their formal education. For instance, they completed courses such as "Organization Design" and "Become a Chief of Staff with Brian Rumao" in 2020 through LinkedIn. In 2017, they also completed courses on "Esther Dyson on Cultivating Health at Scale" and "Finance Essentials for Small Business," also on LinkedIn.
