April Pojero

April Pojero, BSN, RN, CIC, is an experienced Infection Prevention Manager at AdventHealth since March 2015, and also serves as Infection Control Practitioner Manager at Florida Hospital since April 2011. With a background as a Registered Nurse, Relief Charge, and Preceptor, April is certified in chemotherapy and oncology nursing. April has contributed to various committees, including the Professional Practice Council, Unit Council, and Infection Control Committee. April holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree obtained from Daytona State College in 2018 and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Daytona State College in 2010. Additionally, April has been certified in Infection Control by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc., since 2018.
