Mark Newmyer

Mark Newmyer is the current Vice President of Communications at AdventHealth. Mark has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, having previously served as the Market Vice President for Business Development at Adventist Health. In this role, they oversaw strategy development, revenue growth, strategic service line expansion, and marketing and communication. Mark also led operations and growth for cardiovascular, neurosciences, orthopedics and prison business at an organization that was recognized as a top 100 heart care hospital from HealthGrades and received multiple other five star ratings.

Prior to their work in the healthcare industry, Newmyer served as the President & CEO of Parables Television Network from January 2010 to December 2014. Mark was responsible for leading the creation of Parables TV, the first Christian entertainment television network available through on-demand monthly subscription and DirecTV. Mark oversaw all operations of the network, including content development and acquisition, creative services and production, distribution, brand development and management, marketing, syndication, sourcing outside investors and financial performance. Mark partnered with industry leaders to create a robust platform in areas of streaming, video asset management, video player management, payment processing and live chat customer service.

Mark Newmyer has a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from University of Phoenix, and they have attended Southern Adventist University.

Mark Newmyer reports to David Banks, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy and Organizational Transformation Officer. Mark Newmyer works with Bryan Stiltz - Executive Vice President, Physician Enterprise, Josef Ghosn - Vice President, Strategic Planning Multi-State Division, and Vickie White - Senior Vice President, Chief Brand and Consumer Officer.
