Melissa Leonard

Melissa Leonard has extensive experience in nursing leadership and healthcare management. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at AdventHealth since September 2014, Melissa oversees a range of clinical services, including the Emergency Department, Cardiovascular Services, Interventional Radiology, Observation Medicine, Dialysis, and Psychiatric Services. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Director of Cardiovascular Services at Florida Hospital from September 2008 to January 2014, and also worked as a Research Manager. Melissa earned a Master's Degree in Business/Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and is continuing education at Florida State University.
