Kim Emerson

Kim Emerson, LCSW-C has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health and healthcare. Kim started their career as a Social Work Intern at the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County in 2009. Following that, they served as a Social Work Intern at Northwestern Human Services from September 2009 to May 2010. In 2010, Kim joined Family Services as the Manager of Quality Assurance & Quality Improvement, a role they held until October 2011. During their time at Family Services, they also worked as a Psychotherapist in the Outpatient Mental Health Center.

In 2012, Kim worked as a Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center until May 2013. Kim then joined Family Services again in August 2013, this time as the Clinical Services Manager in the Outpatient Mental Health Center. Kim later became the Director of CareLink and Health Homes, a role they held from April to December 2014.

Kim's next role was at Adventist HealthCare, where they served as the Manager of Health Programs from January 2015 to October 2016. Kim then became the Practice Administrator at the Outpatient Wellness Clinic and held this position until October 2018. After that, they moved into the role of Director of Behavioral Health Integration and worked in this capacity until April 2022. Currently, Kim holds the position of Director of Operations, Adventist Medical Group at Adventist HealthCare, starting in April 2022.

Kim then pursued a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania from 2008 to 2010. Currently, they are working towards a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from The George Washington University, which they are expected to complete in 2025.
