Jori Larres

Jori Larres has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jori is currently working as the Design Director at Adventure Club since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at frog as the Program Director, Design from June 2021 to October 2022.

Their longest tenure was at Idean, where they held multiple roles. Jori served as the Program Director, Design from June 2019 to October 2022. Before that, they were the Director of User Experience from September 2017 to October 2022. Jori also held the positions of Lead Designer, Team Leader from March 2016 to September 2017 and Team Lead, Senior Designer from August 2013 to March 2016.

In their earlier roles at Idean, they were a Senior Designer from May 2012 to August 2013, Senior UI Developer from October 2011 to June 2012, and UI Designer from January 2006 to October 2011.

Before joining Idean, Jori worked as a UI Designer under their own self-employment from January 2005 to January 2006. Jori was also a User Interface Designer at Games Exhibitions Finland from January 2004 to March 2005. Prior to that, they worked as a Designer at Helsinki Business Polytechnic from November 2003 to July 2004.

Their early experiences in the field include working as an IT Trainee at Kaleva College from June 1999 to August 2003, a Trainee at Tamrock from February 1999 to June 1999, and a Trainee at Virtual Center from September 1997 to February 1998.

Throughout their career, Jori has gained expertise in design leadership, DesignOps, user experience, team management, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and front-end development.

Jori Larres completed a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Information Technology from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences between 2001 and 2005. Additionally, from 2003 to 2004, Jori attended Technological University Dublin, studying Creative Digital Media.
