Madelyn Underwood

Madelyn Underwood, SHRM - SCP, currently serves as the Head of People at Adventure Scientists since November 2023. Prior to this role, Madelyn was an HR Consultant in the philanthropic sector at Compass Pro Bono from January 2023 to October 2023. Madelyn has extensive experience in human resources, having held the position of Director of Human Resources at both Mt. Cuba Center and Longwood Gardens, where tenure spanned from March 2020 to December 2022 and November 2015 to February 2020, respectively. Additional roles include serving as the Human Resources Manager at YMCA of Greater Brandywine from September 2013 to October 2015 and Guest Service and Volunteer Manager at Longwood Gardens from October 2010 to September 2013. Madelyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from Cornell University.
