Steve Gifford

Steve Gifford is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in grants management, public affairs, photography, and historical research. Currently serving as a Grants Management Specialist for the Safeguarding Tomorrow Revolving Loan Fund at FEMA since February 2024, Steve also operates as the Owner and Photographer at Jurassic Press Photos. Additional roles include Structural Historian for the WV Department of Arts, Culture, & History and Whitewater Photographer for ACE Adventure Resort. Previous experiences encompass service as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Illinois National Guard, Fire Support NCO, and an Oral History Intern at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Public/Applied History and dual Bachelor's Degrees in History and Bible/Biblical Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield and Lincoln Christian University, respectively.
