Bernarda Elizalde - Andrews

Bernarda Elizalde - Andrews has extensive experience in the field of corporate responsibility and community relations in the mining industry. Bernarda has held key roles at various organizations such as Adventus Mining Corporation, Torex Gold Resources Inc, Centre for Responsible Mineral Development, and Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada. Their expertise includes strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, conflict management, community development programs, and ensuring compliance with ESG and CSR goals. Additionally, they have experience in environmental assessments, ecosystem restoration, and training local communities for sustainable development. Throughout their career, Bernarda has been instrumental in fostering positive relationships between mining companies and local communities.

Bernarda Elizalde - Andrews completed their Licentiate degree in Biology/Biological Sciences at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador from 1990 to 1995. Bernarda then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University & Research from 1998 to 2001. In 2015, they undertook postgraduate studies in Conflict Prevention and Transformation at Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya. Additionally, they also completed a Licenciatura in Biology/Biological Sciences at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Science at Wageningen University & Research.
