Nelson Yanes

Nelson Yanes has extensive work experience in human resources and talent management roles. Nelson has held positions at various organizations such as Adventus Mining Corporation, Alamos Gold Inc., Torex Gold Resources Inc, Barrick Gold Corporation, KGHM International, and CHC Helicopter. Their most recent role is Vice President Human Resources, Health, Safety & Chief Compliance Officer at Adventus Mining Corporation, starting in May 2022.

Nelson Yanes holds a Bachelor's Degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello and a Master's Degree in Human Resources & Organization Development from Northeastern Illinois University. Nelson also earned a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management / Labor from Northwestern University. Additionally, Nelson has certifications in Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and as a Certified Human Resources Professional.
