Kian Javier

Kian Javier is an experienced communications and digital marketing professional currently serving as the Communications Chair at the Advertising Club of Edmonton since June 2023. Previously, Kian held the role of Digital Marketer at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) from April 2023 to November 2024. Prior experience includes working as an Account Coordinator at Berlin Communications (May 2021 - April 2023) and as a Digital Marketing Consultant for the School of Retailing Consulting Group, where Kian assisted local businesses in Edmonton with digital marketing strategies. Kian also served as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Techmate Labs, focusing on online reach and lead generation. Kian's earlier roles at the University of Alberta included Senior Resident Assistant and Resident Assistant, providing support and guidance to residents. Kian holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alberta.
