John Rayburn

Chief Financial Officer at Advertising Vehicles

John Rayburn has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. John currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Advertising Vehicles since February 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at Multi-Color Corporation, where they worked as a Finance Director from July 2017 to September 2022, and as the Director of Compliance from December 2015 to July 2017. At Multi-Color Corporation, Rayburn played a key role in establishing a global compliance department and successfully eliminating two material weaknesses.

Rayburn also worked at Standard Register as the VP Finance, Operations Controller from March 2014 to December 2015. John served as a Board Member at Family Nurturing Center, a non-profit social service agency, from October 2010 to November 2015.

At General Cable, Rayburn held several positions including VP Finance, NA Controller from November 2009 to December 2013, Director of Finance, NA Operations from November 2007 to December 2009, and Director of Compliance from February 2005 to November 2007. In the Director of Compliance role, they led a team in remedying nine material weaknesses and significantly reduced cost and effort in SOX compliance.

Prior to their time at General Cable, Rayburn worked as the Managing Director at BH Solutions Group, a consulting and recruiting firm. John also held positions at STERIS as the Director of Internal Audit from 2000 to 2004, and at M.A. Hanna as the Director of Internal Audit from 1998 to 2000.

Rayburn began their career as a Plant Controller at The Geon Company and later worked as a Manager of Patient Care Systems at Ashtabula County Medical Center. Through their various roles, Rayburn has gained experience in finance, compliance, internal audit, consulting, and non-profit board membership.

John Rayburn obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Mount Union between the years 1982 and 1986. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University from 1993 to 1995.
