Makayla George

Makayla George is currently a Product Manager at Microsoft, focusing on the Office 365 Excel product team, having previously served as a Product Manager Intern where opportunities for AI integration in Office products were identified. In addition to this role, Makayla serves as the President of UMD BITS, leading the executive board and fostering relationships with employers and faculty. Previous experiences include a Business Analyst Intern position at Capital One, where data analysis and policy recommendations were implemented, and multiple roles such as Instructor for the National Cheerleaders Association, Audio Visual Technician, Teaching Assistant, Marketing Organizer, and Assistant Manager at Vector Marketing. Makayla is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems with a double major in Business Analytics, while having also studied International Business Administration at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
