Tim Harris

Tim Harris is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in computer science and engineering. Currently serving as a Partner Architect and Principal Architect at Microsoft since May 2020, Harris also holds the position of Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge. As a Director at Varsity Publications Ltd, Harris oversees operations for the Varsity student newspaper and other publications. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where contributions were made to large-scale storage performance and data analytics, and Architect at Oracle, leading research on runtime systems for parallel workloads.
