Ryan Bixel

Ryan Bixel is a Senior Design Development Engineer at ADVICS North America, Inc., where responsibilities include leading a newly formed Systems Engineering team focused on the development of Electric Parking Brake systems. Previous experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at ADVICS, managing multiple programs with OEM customers, and contributing to the design and testing of electric parking brake evaluation laboratories. As Team Lead for the University of Cincinnati Formula SAE Team, Ryan developed program goals to increase awareness and foster new leadership, alongside technical advancements in electronic control systems and vehicle design. Early career roles involved engineering co-op positions at Honda of America Mfg., Inc., where projects ranged from vehicle parts studies to improvements in engine block machining lines. Ryan holds a degree from the University of Cincinnati, gained from 2009 to 2014.
