Julie Janeway

Julie Janeway has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare and legal fields. Julie currently serves as the General Counsel and Director of Healthcare Administration/Operations Support at Advize, where they provide practical solutions to clients' administration and operations challenges. Julie also represents Advize as a speaker at conferences and events, offering health law education and training.

Previously, Julie worked as the General Counsel at the Michigan Association for Healthcare Quality and as a Senior Healthcare Counsel at Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip, PLLC, specializing in hospital and medical malpractice and licensing defense. Julie also served as the Chief Legal Counsel at Bikham.

Julie's background also includes teaching positions, such as being a Professor at Central Michigan University and Western Michigan University Law School, where they taught courses on health law, business organizations law, and sports/sports representation law.

Before that, Julie owned their own law firm, Janeway Law, PLLC, which provided transactional services in various areas, including business law, healthcare compliance, employment law, real estate transactions, and non-profit law. Julie also worked as a healthcare administration and law consultant at Athena Medical/Legal Consulting & Training, offering training and consulting services to healthcare organizations across North America.

Julie Janeway obtained their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Touro School of Law in 1997. Julie also obtained a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University in 1999. Julie Janeway received the certification of being admitted to The Supreme Court of the United States in December 2002. Julie also became an Attorney and Counselor at Law through the State Bar of Michigan in November 1997.
