Amanda M. Luthy

Senior Trust Officer at Advocacy Trust

Amanda M. Luthy joined Advocacy Trust in 2021 as a trust officer, where she will bring her skill set to asset protection trusts and special assets held in trust. She comes to the Nashville team with a solid background in the trust world, an ability to teach others, and problem-solving skills from various business roles. Amanda’s unique skill set—along with her heart for helping others—will be focused on the beneficiaries she serves and her participation within the Advocacy team as a problem solver.

Before joining Advocacy, Amanda served in the Estates Division and Personal Trust at Cumberland Trust in Nashville. She worked in education, teaching math and coaching volleyball at the secondary school level and teaching as an adjunct professor in the business schools of Belmont University and UT Chattanooga. Amanda’s first job was at Cargill, Inc. holding various positions within corporate strategy and then holding positions of grain trading and sales in one of Cargill’s food industries. Amanda has an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BA in Economics & Mathematics from Knox College in Illinois, and a CTFA license.

Amanda volunteers at Friends Life Community in Nashville and teaches children’s Sunday School at her local church. In her free time, Mrs. Luthy enjoys spending time with her family (husband and college-aged children), boating on Kentucky Lake with her parents, trying new classes at the local YMCA, and reading.
