Shoeb Sitafalwalla

Shoeb leads the system’s innovation and design efforts that support the transformation of care delivery and health system operations. He is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and when necessary, modification of Advocate Aurora’s overall strategic plan.

A cardiologist for the last eight years, Shoeb served as the vice president and chief medical officer at Good Shepherd Hospital. Additionally, he served as the medical director of the South Asian Cardiovascular Center – a novel population health cardiac center focused on providing culturally competent clinical care to an at-risk population through community outreach and innovation. He also served in a variety of transformative leadership posts including clinical executive sponsor for Advocate Aurora’s LiveWell app and clinical innovation lead of the organization’s Health Equity Council.

His career has strong connections to Advocate Aurora as he completed both his Internal Medicine Residency and his Cardiology Fellowship at Lutheran General Hospital, where he was named Fellow of the Year. He was also recently named Top 100 Executives Under 50 by Diversity MBA.
