Erik Wernberg has a diverse work experience. Erik started their career as a Law Clerk at the District Court of Stockholm in 1997 and continued in that role until 2000. Erik then worked as a Law Clerk for the Svea Court of Appeal from May 2000 to May 2001. In June 2001, they became a Judge at the Västmanland District Court for a few months before joining Hammarskiöld & Co as a Lawyer in November 2001. Erik worked at Hammarskiöld & Co for almost seven years until May 2008. Finally, they joined Advokatfirman Cederquist in June 2008 as the Head of Dispute Resolution and later became a Partner in January 2010.

Erik Wernberg began their education in 1992 at Uppsala University, where they pursued an LLm degree in law. Erik completed this program in 1997. In 1995, Erik had the opportunity to study as an exchange student at the University of Minnesota Law School, further enhancing their understanding of law. Later, in 1998, Erik enrolled at the University of Cambridge for an LLm degree in law, which they obtained in 1999. Throughout their educational journey, Erik focused on law, displaying a consistent dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise in this field.
