Feng Zhao is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in developing and deploying innovative data-driven solutions across diverse industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Adyen, Feng specializes in building omni-channel shopper profiles that support risk and marketing products. Previously, at adidas, Feng successfully productionized a recommender system that significantly improved click-through rates and standardized modeling processes for multiple teams. Earlier roles included developing hotel recommendations at Expedia Affiliate Network using deep learning, fraud detection models at Feedzai on large transaction datasets, and contributing to research and teaching assistance at the National University of Singapore. Feng holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from South China University of Technology.
