Hassan Shabbir Ahmed Baig

Hassan Shabbir Ahmed Baig is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Team Lead for the Logging Platform at Adyen since June 2023, where efforts are focused on transitioning to Platform Reliability Engineering. Previously, at Booking.com from July 2016 to May 2023, roles included Site Reliability Engineering Manager, leading a large-scale Kubernetes-based internal booking container cloud, and Senior System Engineer, contributing to the expansion of the internal cloud offering. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Solution Architect at Xchanging Malaysia, delivering innovative cloud solutions, and as a Senior System Engineer for various organizations, including SBT Japan and TRADEKEY, focusing on systems engineering and application deployment strategies. Hassan holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University and has a solid foundation in data communications, digital signals processing, and network security.
