Renaud Dufour

Data Scientist at Adzuna

Renaud Dufour has a strong background in data science and research. In 2009, they conducted a research internship at CNRS - Laboratoire IEMN, where they contributed to the development of a microfluidic device for automated monitoring of bioprocesses. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a PhD researcher, funded by the French ministry of defense (DGA), on a project focused on developing innovative surface coatings.

In 2013, Renaud joined the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Selforganization as a research scientist. Renaud was involved in an international project with BP, where they developed statistical models using Matlab, R, and Python, and analyzed data from experiments. Renaud also wrote technical reports and scientific articles for the project.

In 2015, Renaud participated in a five-week intensive workshop called S2DS, which trained him in the skills required for data science roles. Later that year, they joined Adzuna as a data scientist. The duration of their role at Adzuna is unspecified.

Renaud Dufour obtained an Engineer degree in Electronics and Computer Science from ISEN from 2004 to 2009. After that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, completing it from 2009 to 2012. Renaud also obtained several additional certifications, including S2DS 2015 London from Pivigo, Data Science Specialization from Coursera Verified Certificates, Operational Intelligence and Machine Data with Splunk from Udemy, Text Mining and Analytics from Coursera, Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark from edX, Introduction to Finance from Coursera, The Analytics Edge from edX, Intro to Marketing from Coursera, Text Retrieval and Search Engines from Coursera, Mathematical Biostatistics Boot Camp 1&2 from Coursera, Statistical Learning from Stanford University, Pattern Discovery in Data Mining from Coursera, and Scalable Machine Learning (institution not specified). The month and year of completion were not provided for the certification "Scalable Machine Learning".
