Alex Barrette

Alex Barrette has a diverse work experience in the field of design. They have held various roles, including Vice President of Design and Director of Design at AE Global, Packaging Designer at WestRock Company, and Design Consultant at their self-employed business. They also have experience as a Co-founder, Chief of Product, and Lead Designer at Joba Design, where they successfully raised capital for the startup and managed day-to-day activities. Additionally, they were a Co-Founder and Lead Designer at Gokies/GoBrand, leading the development and design of their products. Alex Barrette has also worked as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist at Coldwell Banker Townside, REALTORS®, and as a Plastics Shop Manager at Virginia Tech. They have interned as a Footwear Design intern at New Balance and as a Design Intern at Donald L. Blount and Associates, Inc.

Alex Barrette attended Virginia Tech from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial and Product Design.
