Francisco J. Carrillo, Ph.D.

Francisco J. Carrillo, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Francisco J. is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist and ML Engineer at AE Studio since 2023. Prior to that, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at Scanslated from 2021 to 2023, where they led the development of ML infrastructure for patient-friendly medical products. Francisco J. also worked as a Research Scientist at Princeton University in 2021, where they developed machine learning models for predicting physical processes and collaborated with researchers from Stanford University and ETH Zurich. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2016, where they improved the efficiency of water desalination technology and presented progress reports to business partners.

Francisco J. Carrillo, Ph.D. completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Computational Fluid Mechanics and Machine Learning (Chemical Engineering) from Princeton University. Francisco J. pursued this degree from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2012 to 2016.
