John Smith

John joined AEA in 2005 as member of the mezzanine team and was promoted to Partner in 2018.

Prior to joining AEA, John spent three years at AlpInvest Partners, a global private equity manager. Prior to AlpInvest, he was at 212 Ventures, the technology arm of Investcorp International. Prior to this position, he was at Credit Suisse First Boston in the leveraged finance and financial sponsors group.
